Finding time to spend with your kids can be difficult. We decided to get a Sprinter Van to maximize the fun on road trips for this very reason. Built with purpose and made for fun.
The Van Interior and Seating
The van is equipped with four captains chairs on swivel bases allows for an ideal picnic setup. It is also nice to have the second row captains rear facing when road tripping with adults. This keeps the conversation more inclusive for everyone. Also Note the 32″ tv above the driver.
The two couches each have 3 seat belts. Both of them will fold out and form a queen sized bed. However, our kids mostly use them as their own individual beds to lay on during long stretches of driving. Note the 26″ tv in the door. Behind the door is the kitchen and restroom.
The Kitchen
The Kitchen area is set up with a single burner electric range, sink, and a microwave overhead. There is a small refrigerator and storage area under the sink. On the left side is the toilet and shower. Also the shower also has a small sink inside it like every other RV out there. Our van is also equipped with an exterior shower that is plumbed with hot and cold water. This makes it easy to hose the kids down after a beach trip or to clean muddy equipment.
